These terms apply to anyone who uses Dedux. By creating an account or signing in, you agree to them. How your data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
Dedux is a learning platform. It proposes tasks, records your interactions with them and, from those records, estimates your learning state.
The estimates are based on evidence and do not replace the assessment of a teacher or an institution.
Dedux is in a testing phase. During this phase:
To have an account of your own, you must be 18 or over. People under 18 use Dedux through a parent or guardian or through an educational institution, who answer for consent and for the use.
The account is personal and non-transferable. You sign in in one of these ways:
If you sign in with Google, Google's own terms still apply to your Google account.
You are responsible for what is done in your account. If you suspect misuse, tell us at contato@usededux.com.
You may not:
Cheating only harms the estimate: it ends up describing someone who is not you.
Dedux may suspend or close an account used against these terms. [notice and appeal procedure to be defined]
Dedux's maps, tasks and texts are protected by copyright and licensed to you only for use on the platform.
What you produce remains yours. You authorise Dedux to use it to estimate your progress and, in anonymous and aggregated form, to improve the platform.
The conditions of each plan are stated before you sign up for it. Contracts with institutions follow the signed proposal.
You can close your personal account at any time, in the app under Conta → Seus dados (Account → Your data), or by writing to contato@usededux.com.
What happens to your data afterwards is described in the Privacy Policy, section 7.
The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of results.
A certificate describes only what your records supported with strong evidence on the date it was issued.
We announce relevant changes in the app and by e-mail, in advance [notice period to be defined]. The current version is always the one on this page.
These terms are governed by Brazilian law. In a dispute, we first seek to talk it through. If that does not resolve it, the courts of the district (comarca) of São Paulo, Brazil, are chosen as venue.
